Though not a voting member of the Vestry, our work would be incredibly difficult without the guidance and talent shared by our treasurer, which is a volunteer position. If you get a chance, don’t miss the opportunity to thank Paul for all he does for All Saints’/Todos los Santos.
What do you love about The Episcopal Church?
I love the small community where one gets to know many members and has the opportunity to mix with the Hispanic community.
What do you think All Saints’/Todos los Santos provides Bentonville/the community?
All Saints’/Todos los Santos provides many of the programs that the larger churches provide but in a smaller setting: Christian education for adults and children, outreach programs, music, retreats, book clubs, and more. All Saints’ also provides a traditional and conservative approach to worshiping.
What are you most excited about All Saints’/Todos los Santos?
All Saints’ is going through a new phase in the life cycle of the church and congregation. Father Roger established All Saints’ that has provided a solid foundation of existing committed members. Mother Sara brings to All Saints’ some fresh ideas and leadership that is bound to help us learn and grow.
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people wouldn’t know from just meeting you in passing on Sunday morning?
I was born in Venezuela and lived in Egypt. I moved to the US (Oklahoma) for the first time when I was in high school.
