Why are we called All Saints'?
On one level the selection of the name All Saints' Church is a way of recognizing those individuals in church history who have led distinguished and exemplary Christian lives. However, our decision to call ourselves All Saints' is based less on a desire to pay tribute to the towering figures of the church, than on a recognition that each and everyone of us is a saint - a child of God. We are all included in God's kingdom, not because of our "saintliness", but because the love of God extends to all of creation.
